30/03/2011 | EASL 2011: VCTE(TM) Developed by Echosens, the Leading Technique for Evaluation of Liver Disease.

The VCTE(TM) (Vibration Controlled Transient Elastography) from Echosens stood out as a leading technique in the field. It is the only technique able to measure elasticity at a predetermined, controlled frequency (50 Hz), which is essential because elasticity increases as frequency increases.

30/10/2009 | Echosens is a major world actor in Elastography.

Last month, at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Conference in Rome, Echosens presented a series of papers and posters on its research work, including Viscosity and Micro-Elastography. Some of its new applications will also be presented during the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD) in Boston, from October 30 to November 3, 2009.

09/09/2009 | Canada approves FibroScan and its 3 probes.

The FibroScan® with all its 3 probes has received market clearance in Canada. This occurs right after the worldwide launch of the XL Probe.

03/11/2008 | New global solution for measuring hepatic fibrosis to obese patients presented by Echosens at AASLD.

During the annual meeting of the AASLD (American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases) in San Francisco, Echosens has launched a dedicated device for measuring hepatic fibrosis in patients with BMI (Body Mass Index) > 30 kg/m2.
