Territory to focus: 70% Eastern Region (West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and NE states) 30% Rest of India

Reporting to: Regional Director – South Asia


Job Description / Responsibilities


The overall objective of our Regional Sales Manager is to drive Echosens sales in selected market of Eastern Region through a combination of local lead generation and channel partners management


1/ Lead Generation & Opportunity Management

  • Generate and develop incremental sales leads and opportunities, noticeably by systematically visiting the current Installed Base
  • Engage prospective targets and move the sales process forward
  • Assist the partners in following up and conducting commercial negotiations
  • Develop services revenue through our Service channel partner


2/ Channel Partners / Distributors Management

  • Build and maintain B2B client relationship with new and existing distributors of our FibroScan products
  • Guide and challenge distributors on their commercial strategies and opportunity management
  • Provide technical advice and consultative sales to support distributors in the sales process


3/ Sales Execution & Operations

  • Lead usage of our CRM for the region and leverage CRM solutions to improve commercial efficiency of our partners
  • Guarantee the respect of pricing policy and global marketing strategy as set forth by Echosens leadership
  • Ensure the respect from distributors of financial, regulatory and quality commitments
  • Ensure quick resolution of technical issues in cooperation with both our Service Department and local distributor


4/ Marketing

  • Build and maintain relationships with local relevant Key Opinion Leaders and physicians associations
  • Ensure relationships & synergies with local Pharmaceutical stakeholders
  • Contribute to local Voice of Customer and product positioning in the region
  • Monitor markets trends and competition


Profil :

You should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and distributors management in an environment of medical solutions or equipment.

A sales experience in medical Capital Equipment or Ultrasound would be preferred, as well as a prior experience working with a CRM (ideally Salesforce.com). Knowledge of the gastroenterology and/or endocrinology field is not required but would be highly valued.


You should have deep knowledge of both Eastern Regional and All India market. You should be comfortable in Bangali, Hindi and in English.


You will be home based and must be able to travel up to 70% of the time.
