Guided VCTE™ significantly increased the success rate of individual measurements in the entire population especially in patients with grade 2 obesity (BMI ≥ 35 kg/m²).

The new stiffness indicator was highly effective, with a 97% sensitivity for predicting valid liver stiffness measurements (LSM).

Guided VCTE™ is a time-saving technology:

• – Significantly reduced the time required for localizing an appropriate LSM spot, especially with patients with grade 2 obesity.
• – 96% of patients with obesity (BMI ≥35 kg/m²) can be scanned in less than 4 minutes.

Despite the new guidance mode introduced with Guided VCTE™, all the medical literature and published cut-off values on LSM by VCTE™ and CAP™ remains applicable.
