Position Summary:

Title:  Territory Manager
Reports To:  Regional Manager

Position Summary

The Territory Manager (TM) is accountable for achieving capital sales and business results within their assigned territory, as well as working collaboratively with other TM’s, Area Managers,  Regional Managers, Director of Sales, Clinical Specialists and various other departments to successful outcomes of corporate objectives.  Responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with key customers and expanding customer base.

Qualifications

Position Expectations:

  • Ability to develop and manage business plan.
  • Achieve quarterly and yearly quota through system and service sales.
  • Maintains and expands active customer base and pipeline through collaboration with ESNA support team and partnership with customers.
  • Builds rapport with customers, recognizes importance of relationships, develops long-term partnerships, represents the organization with the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Develop understanding of Echosens technology and its application sufficient to support engagement with physicians and customer functional departments.
  • Ability to perform travel to properly support the territory.
  • Ability to properly forecast month, quarter and year end projections.
  • Participate in business development and educational activities such as trade shows and industry meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Demonstrated success building and maintaining strong sales.
  • Must be able to meet all hospital credentialing requirements, including but not limited to, background check, drug screen and certain immunizations.
  • Must be insurable and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be willing and able to travel (by automobile or air, day trips and overnight stays) more than 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous capital sales experience in the medical device industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through managing, building, and executing a capital sales pipeline.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry a weight of up to 60 pounds for a short period of time.
  • Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to travel by automobile and/or air, day trips and overnight stays more than 50% of the time.
