The Non-Invasive Biomarkers of Metabolic Liver Disease (NIMBLE) ambition is to revolutionize the ability to diagnose, monitor and treat metabolic liver disease by identifying non-invasive methods of diagnosing and assessing disease progression in non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (MASH). The partnership is spearheaded by the Foundation for National Institutes of Health (FNIH).
Echosens provides financial, clinical and material support, including the loan of FibroScan® devices, and the use of FibroScan-based composite biomarkers such as Fast and FibroMeter VCTE™ which combine circulating biomarkers with liver stiffness by vibration-controlled transient elastography as well as the FibroMeter™ which involves circulating biomarkers only.
