The new cloud-based Liver Health Management platform has been very beneficial in streamlining our clinical process. The ability to easily access and calculate the FAST and Fib-4 Scores to produce a consolidated report alongside the FibroScan® examination results is a great tool for our GP referrals and allows easy interpretation. Our patients also love the fact they can track their liver health with the exam history graph.
Now, Echosens has the Liver Health Management platform where it makes it very user-friendly, even for someone who is not a liver specialist. When we do a FibroScan® exam and generate a report, it’s easy to send it to the referral who sent us the patient. They are able to scan it into their EMR and read and interpret what the values mean. This is more personal and easier to follow.

Any institution or customer using an eligible FibroScan® device (FibroScan® 430 Mini-Mini+; FibroScan® 530 Compact; FibroScan® Expert 630) can have access to the LHM platform. Check your eligibility with us. Accessing the LHM requires a computer with Internet connection. Products in the FibroScan® range are Class IIa medical devices as defined by Directive 93/42/EEC (EC 0459) and are manufactured by Echosens™. These devices are designed for use in a medical practice in order to measure liver stiffness and ultrasound attenuation in patients with liver disease. Examinations with FibroScan® device shall be performed by an operator who has been certified by the manufacturer or its approved local representative. Operators are expressly recommended to carefully read the instructions given in the user manual and on the labelling of these products. Check cost defrayal conditions with paying bodies. Fast is an in vitro diagnostic medical device accordingto directive 98/79/EC. Agile 3+ and Agile 4 are class I medical devices according to Directive 93/42/EEC. Fast, Agile 3+ and Agile 4 are manufactured by Echosens. Fast calculator is a tool for clinicians, computed from LSM and CAP (obtained from FibroScan® device) and AST blood parameter measurement, to aid in the identification of a patient with suspicion of NAFLD as being at risk for active fibrotic NASH (NASH+NAS≥4+F≥2). It was developed based on aprospective multicenter cohort and published in peer-reviewed literature. Agile 3+ calculator is a tool for clinicians, computed from LSM (obtained from FibroScan® device), AST, ALT, platelets, diabetes status, age and gender, to aid inthe identification of patients with suspicion of NAFLD as having advanced fibrosis. It was developed based on a pool of retrospective cohorts and published in peer-reviewed literature. Agile 4 calculator is a tool for clinicians, computedfrom LSM (obtained from FibroScan device), AST, ALT, platelets, diabetes status and gender, to aid in the identification of patients with suspicion of NAFLD as having cirrhosis. It was developed based on a pool of retrospective cohorts and published in peer-reviewed literature. Fast, Agile 3+ and Agile 4 are presented as educational services intended for licensed healthcare professionals.
